Christmas outfits to sew for Boys
Finding patterns to make special outfits for the lads in your life can sometimes be a little tricky.
Here’s some inspiration of what people have sewn for boys using the One Thimble patterns.
Jenna from Apple and Fig sewed the Time Traveller Vest (by Ainslee Fox Boutique Patterns from One Thimble Issue 2) and the Gatsby Cap (by Apple and Fig from One Thimble Issue 6), Crystal from Stitched by Crystal sewed the Ranger Shorts (by Ainslee Fox Boutique Patterns from One Thimble Issue 2) and the Steam Train Applique (by Mr Fox), Miquita from Damaya Designs sewed the Ranger Shorts (by Ainslee Fox Boutique Patterns from One Thimble Issue 2), Jessica from Snickerdoodle Stew sewed the Time Traveller Vest (by Ainslee Fox Boutique Patterns from One Thimble Issue 2), Jamie from Little Miss Mulberry and the Dragon sewed the Fat Red Bird Fedora (pattern by Fat Red Bird Designs from One Thimble Issue 8) and the Archie Shirt (by Ainslee Fox Boutique Patterns from One Thimble Issue 6).
Michelle has sewn the Fat Red Bird Fedora (by Fat Red Bird Designs from One Thimble Issue 8) and the Kinder Shorts (by Hey There Threads from One Thimble Issue 1).
Sharon from Sam and I Designs has sewn the Archie Shirt (by Ainslee Fox Boutique Patterns from One Thimble Issue 6), the Ringmaster Pattern (by Tie Dye Diva from One Thimble Issue 9) the Jackalope Tee (by Momma Quail Patterns from One Thimble Issue 8) and the Bonfire Jacket (by Ainslee Fox Boutique Patterns from One Thimble Issue 5).
I’ve sewn lots of the patterns from One Thimble, but here are a few of my favourite sews. Snowboarder Applique (by Mr Fox) and Half Pipe Pants (by Ainslee Fox Boutique Patterns from One Thimble Issue 3), Gatsby Cap (by Apple + Fig) and Archie Shirt (by Ainslee Fox Boutique Patterns from One Thimble Issue 6), Bonfire Jacket (by Ainslee Fox Boutique Patterns from One Thimble Issue 5) and Steam Train Applique (by Mr Fox) and Ranger Shorts (by Ainslee Fox Boutique Patterns from One Thimble Issue 2).
I hope you find the perfect pattern to sew for the boys in your life within the pages of One Thimble Digital Sewing Magazine! Be sure to share your “sews” with me!
