Bear and Bunny T-shirt Appliques.
Hello! I’m Kate from Horris and Deedle and I’m thrilled to be here on the One Thimble Blog today.
For the latest One Thimble edition, I contributed the ‘Bear and Bunny Baby Quilt Pattern.’ I love the simplicity of this pattern and how pleasing to the eye the finished versions are for such a simple quilt.
But I can hear a lot of you saying “I’m too scared to try a quilt” or “I’ve got no-one to sew it for.” I only sew things which I either really enjoy making or really need. Unfortunately at this stage of my life, I only get a finite amount of time alone with my machine and I know many of you are the same. But if you loved the little critters on my pattern, I’ve scaled them down for anyone who isn’t keen on making a whole quilt. This gang of animals is a great way dress up a plain tee, or a tote bag or even to make a cute wall hanging for a baby nursery or a child’s bedroom.
Here are my mini versions of my lovely quilt friends and a few ideas of how to use them.
